MY STORY

I had always been someone who loved expressing herself through art and creativity. While growing up, I loved making cute DIY gifts and scrapbooks for friends but being a full-time artist never really occurred to me. Art was just a way to express myself and my feelings and so I chose a different path for my career that led me to be a transportation consultant.

However, in 2020, I was laid off from that job and suddenly life didn’t make any sense for me. In that same yea, I moved to the UK where I barely knew anyone. Both these combined put me in the worst depression of my life and I didn’t know what to do! I had always struggled with self doubt and confidence and going through this experience made everything worse. I didn’t have the courage to apply for another job, so I started making art again as way to deal with my emotions. And that was the beginning of Nature Nurture Studio!

I started sharing my art on Instagram and discovered so many artists from such different backgrounds. I even discovered disciplines of art that I had no idea existed! For the last 4 years, I have tried my hand on so many different things-from handlettering to typography to digital art to abstract art to collage to scrapbooking and so much more! Even though my style kept changing and I kept evolving with everything that I was doing, there was one thing that was constant- my love for floral motifs and that fascinated me. So I dived deeper into understanding this affinity.

Over time I have realised that my love for flowers stems from the fact that to me, they are a perfect symbol of living life beautifully no matter what happens with you. They symbolise growth, resilience and transformation and the power of staying true to yourself and blooming no matter what the external condition is. This fascination led me to discover the language of flowers and that is what inspires every art piece I make!

I want this art to not just be something beautiful to look at but also a reminder that just like a flower, you too have the power within you to find beauty in every phase of your life and embrace your unique self <3
